That is unless someone snaps it up before the show!

The fragrance of the rose, remains on the hand that gives it. - Unknown
I took a risk cutting my long stemmed valentine roses. Whew,
I was relieved it worked out and liked it so much in this vase,
I painted it. The rich bordeaux red with the touch of light has this elusive feel of burnished gold roses.

As you know, I am mad about color. Especially red. Well, sometimes a person needs a change, and I was itching to paint something purple. Hence, this oversized sunlit Iris painting. I hope you like it!
You can view "Allure" in person, beginning New Year's Eve as part of the First Night Invitational Exhibition, Marketplace Gallery at Court Square in Harrisonburg, VA. The exhibition will hang through January 26th, 2017.
Will I continue painting my smaller pieces? some of you have asked. Definitely, primarily 9 "x 12" and 12"x12" paintings. I'll also continue offering the wrought iron display stands that are so popular (my gift to you with purchase) and some paintings, framed with a high-end black and gold frame, that will compliment any decor.
Congratulations to the two winners of my December gift Giveaway of "Heading Home". They are:
Paula Fleet & Wanda Crouch!!!!
