Hello Friends, The theme this month seems to be about glass.  I've just completed
"Back lit Rose", the paint is still wet so I would not be able to ship for a couple of
weeks at least...
I must say, it took me three days painting the vase alone!  So much for wanting to paint quicker.  Please don't let that deter you as painting glass  doesn't have to be that in depth - I got a little carried away with the intriguing shimmering dark and light shapes, and the reflections bouncing off the glass...that's what painting is about, finding something that sparks your interest and following up on it.

As promised, I've documented my process on how to paint glass.  Though at times, I may struggle with it,  it really is much easier than it seems and a lot of fun.  It just takes a little practice.  Don't think glass!  paint what you see.

All paintings were great, but I have to say that "Back lit Rose" is my favorite! It seems like you have mansard every form of painting and you are now exploring and enjoying the whole craft. It is a good thing that you are sharing your knowledge to us about painting; this time it is about seven ways to paint glass. Is that a technique on painting? I a a bit clueless since I a not an artist and it is my first time here on your website! I would like to discover more stuff about you and your craft!

Thank you so much for the kind comments. I can't say my steps for painting glass are a technique but just my way of sharing my process over the years to simplify it. Your interest is greatly appreciated!
