"Burnished Roses"
9"x 12" Oil on museum quality panel
$295.

The fragrance of the rose, remains on the hand that gives it. -                                                                                                                Unknown

I took a risk cutting my long stemmed valentine roses.  Whew,
I was relieved it worked out and liked it so much in this vase,
I painted it.  The rich bordeaux red with the touch of light has this elusive feel of burnished gold roses.

It feels like there is sunshine INSIDE the building with this exhibit. Come and feel the rush yourself... soon"

Thank you Gail Turnbull and staff at Arboretum for your support.  The exhibition will hang through the month of April.

Already, the daffodils are in bloom at Edith Carrier J Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, and I am honored to have been invited to exhibit some of my original flower paintings to bring in Spring 2017.

If you  haven't been there, come on over and stroll on the charming walking  trail through the colorful, manicured gardens.  Relax, have a picnic or just smell the flowers.  This little paradise is a hop, skip, and a jump from Costco in Harrisonburg, VA.
