The fragrance of the rose, remains on the hand that gives it. - Unknown I took a risk cutting my long stemmed valentine roses. Whew, I was relieved it worked out and liked it so much in this vase, I painted it. The rich bordeaux red with the touch of light has this elusive feel of burnished gold roses. Of all your flower painting said you've done this has to be one of your most beautiful! I love the way you did the glass and the stems and the roses are spectacular!
