One of my first teachers, Richard Thorpe, said to never let a painting beat me.  At the least complete it.   Well, this piece walloped me the last 10 days.  The daisies were picked from a birthday bouquet Allen gave me and made an adorable simple still life. 
​ " I am a glutton for punishment" was my thought as I embarked on my fourth attempt and third day in the studio...  Thank goodness things worked out.  Now,  I don't have to close up my studio and give away all my art supplies :)   I hope you enjoy "Birthday Daisies"!
