Click Here to See More PARIS IN SEPTEMBER....I was reading a book by Barbara Sher, about not waiting to do things in life no matter how old we are. (I am a self help junkie). A dream of mine has been to see France in depth. So now, you're not only the first to see my latest paintings but to hear my latest news as well. Allen and I are heading to France for almost 3 weeks !!! I am excited to share this... I hope to practice the art of "Flaneur" : french for how to roam without an aim, to wander the streets of Paris without a destination...then, venturing outside the city to the South of France, strolling in the open-air markets , historic sites and vineyards then heading to the Loire Valley to explore their incredible Chateaus and one of a kind castles. We also plan to visit Omaha Beach in Normandy, where our American soldiers fought the Germans during World War II. I hear that is quite a moving experience. What dreams do you have that are tucked in the back of your mind? Any small or little things you've wanted to do, make or see? Have you been to France? Do tell, please.... I'd love to hear from you, just click on the comments on the side bar or above the image. Another new addition to my website: "A Touch of Clematis ", 8"x 10" x .5" on gold textured cradle, $250. Kathy, I'd love to get together over coffee and hear your input. I remember years ago when you showed me your Provence photos. I'll be in touch real soon. Coffee on me. :) Thanks!

Have a great time Nadia!! I went to France as a teen-ager (many years ago!). So impressed by the Loire Valley chateaux and especially, Mont St Michel off th e Normandy coast. Hope you can go there, but if not, it will be a great reason to go again! Did not get to the south of France, so I know that will be so interesting, too.

Sounds amazing. If you go anywhere near Arle, home of my Gipsy Kings, please bring me a signed picture of them. I understand they are sold everywhere..My dream is to visit Arle and visit their studio where they practice . Safe trip!!

I will do it. Goodness, Arles is very close to where we will be. I actually thought of the Gypsy King when seeing Marseille which isn't far but very congested I hear.

So excited to hear about your trip to France! You & Allen will have a wonderful time. Sounds like you are doing the equivalent of the Appalachian Trail "Hike Your Own Hike". Love the freedom you'll have to explore when/where/how you want. When are you going? Bill & I would love to have you come visit and share about your trip when you're back & rested up from this wonderful adventure! Bring lots of pictures!
